A contractor your loss adjuster will accept
Insurance work isn't the same as private domestic work. The schedule has to be itemised in a format the loss adjuster recognises. The documentation has to support the claim file. The programme has to fit the insurer's tolerance for alternative-accommodation costs.
We deliver insurance reinstatement projects from emergency make-safe through full reconstruction — strip-out, drying, structural rebuild, M&E and final decoration — all signed off and documented for the insurer.
A full insurance-reinstatement contractor
From the first emergency make-safe to the final claim sign-off. Every phase delivered, documented and certified for the loss adjuster.
- Make-Safe & Emergency Cover — Boarding up, temporary roofing, structural propping and water-ingress prevention, treated as an emergency priority once we're instructed.
- Strip-Out & Documentation — Controlled strip-out with photographic and written records — to claim-file standard.
- Drying & Dehumidification — Dehumidifier installation, moisture monitoring and content drying for water-damaged properties.
- Structural Reinstatement — Re-roofing, re-flooring, structural rebuilds and joist replacement after fire, flood or impact damage.
- M&E Reinstatement — Full rewires, replumbs, central heating reinstallation and gas safety certification — NICEIC and Gas Safe.
- Plastering & Decoration — Replastering, repainting, flooring and finishing back to pre-loss condition or agreed insurer specification.
- Itemised Schedules — NRBS-format schedules of works, supplementary quotes and stage invoicing — built for insurer scrutiny.
- Workmanship Guarantee — Every reinstatement project handed over with our written workmanship guarantee, alongside the standard insurance defects period.

Insurance Works FAQs
Do you work directly with loss adjusters?
Yes — we provide itemised, NRBS-style schedules of works, photographic evidence and stage-by-stage documentation that loss adjusters and insurers expect. We can be appointed as policyholder's contractor or via a recommended-contractor instruction.
What types of damage do you handle?
Fire, smoke, flood, escape-of-water, storm, impact (vehicle, fallen tree) and subsidence-related works. We coordinate strip-out, drying, structural repairs, M&E reinstatement and full re-finishing.
Do you handle the strip-out and drying?
Yes — controlled strip-out, dehumidifier and drying-equipment hire, and content moving where required. We document the property condition before, during and after for the claim file.
How quickly can you start?
Emergency make-safe works are treated as a priority and arranged at short notice once we're instructed. Full reinstatement programmes start once the schedule of works is approved, subject to materials lead times.
Are you fully insured for this work?
Yes — we're fully insured, with public liability, employers' liability and professional indemnity cover in place. Individual certificates are available on request for loss adjusters or insurers.
